Friends of the Tualatin Public Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises, and provides support for the Tualatin Library. We provide the community with opportunities to invest in the success of the library by donating funds or by donating time through volunteering. We raise money and we raise our voices to ensure a first-class public library for Tualatin. 

News and events 

Next bimonthly meeting. The next bimonthly Friends meeting will be on November 11, 2014 at 7 pm, in the Library Conference Room.

2014 holiday used book sale.
The Friends of the Library will hold the annual Holiday Used Book Sale the first weekend of December. Watch for an announcement of details.

Donations to the Library. At our September 9, 2014 board meeting, the Friends voted to contribute $2900 to the library for three programs: Hispanic Heritage Month, the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration, and the annual movie license renewal.
Newsletter. The Spring newsletter includes articles about the library's Cultural Pass to Adventure program, our recent donations to the library, information about volunteer and fundraising opportunities, and more.

Online booksales. The Friends are now offering used books through Check out our online book store for some great bargains.


You can help

We have many volunteer opportunities in the Friends. You can volunteer to help with book sales, publicity or administrative tasks. You can donate books and other materials. We invite you to join the Friends

What we do

With the funds raised through the sale of used books, we make programming and purchases possible that would otherwise be outside the library's budget. Check out some of the ways we've helped the library in the past.
