Friends of the Tualatin Public Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises, and provides support for the Tualatin Library. We provide the community with opportunities to invest in the success of the library by donating funds or by donating time through volunteering. We raise money and we raise our voices to ensure a first-class public library for Tualatin. 

News and events 


Next meeting. The next bimonthly Friends meeting will be on September 9, 2014 at 7 pm, in the library conference room.

Next book sale at the library.
The Friends of the Library will hold the annual Holiday Used Book Sale the first weekend of December. Watch for an announcement of details.

Donations to the Library. At our May board meeting, the Friends voted to contribute $300 to the library for Spanish Family Night, scheduled for June 19, 2014. We also decided to give $7,275 for the Summer Reading Program. There will be separate programs for kids, teens, and adults. Sign ups run from June 1st to July 31st and prizes will be awarded starting August 1st.

Newsletter. The Spring newsletter includes articles about the library's Cultural Pass to Adventure program, our recent donations to the library, information about volunteer and fundraising opportunities, and more.

Online booksales. The Friends are now offering used books through Amazon.com. Check out our online book store for some great bargains.


   




You can help

We have many volunteer opportunities in the Friends. You can volunteer to help with book sales, publicity or administrative tasks. You can donate books and other materials. We invite you to join the Friends
 



What we do

With the funds raised through the sale of used books, we make programming and purchases possible that would otherwise be outside the library's budget. Check out some of the ways we've helped the library in the past.
