What kind of books can we use?

The Friends welcome donations of clean, undamaged books for our book sales.  New or used, if you enjoyed reading them, we're sure other patrons will too.  

Please mark your books as donations to the Friends if using the outside book drop.  To receive a receipt for taxes purposes, please take your books to the service desk inside the library and request one. 

If you would like to donate a book for the library's permanent collection, please mark it as such.  The librarians frequently look through our donations for this purpose as well.

We do not have space for old text books or computer manuals.  You might consider Goodwill for these unusual items as they have an online store for selling books.
